The Hormone Health Guide
This Guide is for the women who wish they had a clear understanding about their hormones, menstrual cycles, and overall health as a female. This is the guide you wish you had when you first began menstruating as a teen, and it’s something you can pass on to your own daughters. This guide is for you if you want to truly feel nourished and vital as a woman, by doing so in alignment with how our bodies were created - not working against this as much of the wellness world will tell us.
In our modern day to day living, there are so many causes for hormonal imbalances, like ‘oestrogen dominance’ / progesterone imbalance, low oestrogen, PCOS and all of its types as well as cortisol imbalances - all of which can cause an array of symptoms from your typical PMS mood swings, bloating, sore breasts, headaches, fatigue, low libido, irregular cycles, stubborn weight, sleep issues, acne - the list goes on!
Inside the guide you will find seven chapters,

The guide is divided into seven chapters, as follows:
1. The Basics - what hormones are, how they’re made, definitions of the ones we look at more closely in this book
2. The menstrual cycle - the rhythm of the female cycle itself and what each hormone is doing during each phase
3. Hormonal imbalances - this chapter addresses these specific hormone imbalances mentioned above, & the symptoms that they cause, as well as information on what testing you can request for a diagnosis and overall evaluation of your hormones.
4. A Holistic Lens - here we take a look at some of the other areas to focus on within the body to support your hormone health.
5. Living in Alignment - this chapter is filled with resources for you to naturally support your cycles and hormone health. Lifestyle medicine suggestions, a deep dive into cycle tracking, non toxic swaps and much more.
6. Nutrition - now that you know some of the basics of hormone health, let’s take a look at how you can eat to support this.
7. Cycle syncing - lastly I go through the ways to live in alignment with your cycle moving forward, including a recap of what your hormones are doing within each phase, how this then effects you in your day to day life and what you can do nutritionally and with your lifestyle to support each phase
